Mission

The Tribal Diocese of Kandhamal is committed to:

  • Strengthening local churches, through sound Christian teaching, pastoral care, discipleship, fellowship, and responsible leadership.
  • Advancing the Gospel, through evangelism, mission, prayer, outreach, and the establishment and strengthening of Christian communities.
  • Equipping pastors and leaders, through training, encouragement, mentoring, and opportunities for spiritual and ministerial development.
  • Nurturing children, youth, women, and families, and encouraging their meaningful participation in the life and ministry of the Church.
  • Serving tribal and rural communities, with compassion, dignity, integrity, and respect for their cultural and social contexts.
  • Promoting unity and cooperation, among churches, pastors, leaders, ministry workers, and Christian organisations.
  • Practising responsible stewardship and administration, through accountability, transparency, discipline, and wise use of resources.
  • Preparing the next generation of Christian leaders, to carry forward the Church's ministry with faith, character, competence, and commitment.
